The park suggests the 12 pm and 1 pm entry slots to enjoy its Sunset with DJs calmly, on the scheduled dates. For the sunset itself, our suggestion is the same: go in early in the afternoon, explore both stops and stay up top.
Astronomical time; from Sugarloaf, the sun disappears behind the mountains a little earlier.
3 pm to 6 pm is the busiest time, with a line to board. Mornings are usually quieter.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this the official cable car website?
No. The Singular Club resells tickets for the Sugarloaf Mountain cable car. The purchase, ticket delivery and support are ours; the ride is operated by the park.
How does the time slot work?
Each ticket is valid for one date and one entry slot of up to 1 hour (for example, entering between 10:00 and 11:00). You cannot enter before or after the slot. Once in, stay as long as you like during park hours.
Can I buy for today?
Yes, while spots last: sales for each slot close 90 min before it starts.
How do I get my ticket?
By email, once payment is confirmed, with a QR code for each person. Show it on your phone, with the brightness up, at each station. You can also print it at the park's kiosks.
Do children pay? And babies?
Children aged 3 to 12 use the child ticket, under the park's rules — bring their ID. Under 3 ride free; that case is not sold here, so talk to us before you go.
Do you sell senior or resident fares?
No. Reduced fares (60+, students, people with disabilities) and the Rio de Janeiro State resident fare are sold only by the park, with proof. For Brazilians (born or resident in Brazil), we sell the Brazil Promo fare, bought with the buyer's CPF.
What is Fast Access?
A ticket with a priority boarding line and access to the air-conditioned lounge at Praia Vermelha, with the same rides as the regular ticket. It has its own spots per slot and is sold per person.
What is the Brazil Promo?
It is the park's promotional fare for Brazilians, born or resident in Brazil. Here it is sold with the buyer's CPF, comes from the same spots as the regular ticket and includes the same rides. Bring proof: the park may ask for it at the entrance. It is for adults only and goes in a separate order: children's or Adult tickets go in another order.
How does the Guided Tour work?
A park guide leads the group, of up to 20 people, for 50 minutes from Morro da Urca to Sugarloaf, telling the story of the cable car and the area, in Portuguese or English. Departures are at 09:30, 10:30 and 11:30, and the ticket already includes the cable car rides. After the tour, you are free to explore.
How does Sunrise at the Park work?
You go in before the park opens to the public to watch the day break from the top. In October arrival is at 04:30 (04:00 in November, 03:45 in December); the time on the ticket is what counts, and the park may adjust it to the sunrise. Breakfast is served from 6 to 8 am at the Clássico Sunset Club restaurant, and then you are free to explore. There are only fixed dates, tickets must be bought at least 3 days ahead and the experience depends on the weather. Children under 3 are free.
What document do I need to buy?
The park issues the ticket with the buyer's ID: foreign visitors give their passport and country.
What if it rains?
The park opens in the rain and has covered areas. Strong wind or lightning may stop the cable car for a while. Sunset with DJs is cancelled if it rains.
Can I cancel or change my date?
Talk to our team on WhatsApp before your date: we'll see with you what is possible for your ticket.
Is there parking?
The park has no parking of its own. There are paid car parks nearby, such as at the Rio Sul and Casa & Gourmet malls.
How long does the visit take?
Allow 2 to 3 hours. Each cable car section takes about 3 minutes; the rest is time to enjoy both stops.
Can I visit Christ the Redeemer on the same day?
Yes: Corcovado is just a few kilometres away. One idea is Christ in the morning and Sugarloaf in the afternoon. See the plan →
